Inner Peace Is For Losers

It's been a winter storm kind of weekend: lots of snow, blowing and drifting, freezing rain. The kind of weekend I'm glad I don't have to go out. While I was working at the hospital, I drove to work in plenty of blizzards, on glare ice. This winter, I won't have to.

Knowing this was coming, we stocked up on groceries before it hit, and then stayed in. So what does one do while snowed in? Stay warm, get comfy, do some baking, watch some TV, play online.

One of the local teens showed me a video at YouTube called "Daft Bodies." Two pre-med students out of California made a video to a Daft Punk tune, "Harder Better Faster Stronger." It's very clever and very entertaining. No, no link. Just go to YouTube.com, and do a search for Daft Bodies.

Anyway, Daft Bodies led to Daft Hands, then Daft Hands Dog, Daft Hands Baby, Daft Hands Switch, Daft Hands Remix. You get the picture. Some of these are terrific, some not.
