Tex's Last Run

Now live on Variant Frequencies, Tex's Last Run by Jonathan Gillespie. It's a great story, and yeah, that's my voice in there. I sound awful, of course, and for that I apologize to the author. (Rick tells me just about everybody hates how they sound, but he's probably just being nice.)

Anyway. I really love this story. Give it a listen, and let Jonathan know what you think of it.

Don't you dare...

Don't you dare apologize. I think you did a terrific job.

Re: Don't you dare...

Thanks, dude. That story was a blast to work on.

Rick is probably right.

Don't hurt me for saying this but Rick is probably right. Most people don't like the way they sound (unless you are Tee Morris) it is more a matter of you are not hearing yourself through your bones when you listen to a recording of yourself than when you talk. Listen to me I am talking biology to a nurse - I am sure you know all of this...Anyway took me a year to used to the sound of my voice...and I have a voice for print. ;)
When is your next story coming out?

Re: Rick is probably right.

You gents are too kind. :) Yes, Wolf, I do know the biology of this, which leads me to think, good lord, is that how I sound to everybody else?? ALL THE TIME?

I have another Amarant story written, just searching for the perfect voice. Thanks for asking.

Re: Rick is probably right.

Alright...WTF are you worried about. I finally got to listen this morning and you are convincing as Shelly. That is truly the trick of voice acting. You did great.

Re: Rick is probably right.

It is, indeed. Thank you.
